The Big Sisters Turn

I do not even know where to start with this little nutball! Rylee is goofy, and smart, and sassy, and naughty, and stubborn and sweet all rolled into one.. Im pretty sure those are things that make up a 3 year old! ( and i have no clue why everything i type is underlined....)

My "baby" should not be turning 4 the end of August, It really does seem like only months ago she was my little baby, and now she is my big girl that bosses me around, tells me how to handle Hailyn and tells me what I am allowed to do. The things that drive me the most crazy with her are the things I love the most!

ooo the underlines are now gone!! Rylee has a new love for writing and painting. She loves to learn letters and how to spell peoples names. I am loving the fact she wants to learn and catches on to things so fast. That painting she did all by herself! She made it to go with Paytins birthday present ( i kinda want to keep it.. its cute!!) The rest are her first attempt at names, i really should have took new pictures of how she can write them all now, but I just love it! My house is now decorated with Rylees name on a million different pieces of paper all over the place.

and they are back.. so odd!!

But im pretty sure Rylee was sent here to teach me patience. I definitely need them, and i'm not quite sure if it is even something you can gain (i'm having no such luck)

Almost every day I wonder how such a cute sweet little girl, that will at random times give me a big hug and tell me how much she loves me, or tonight it was "mom you are the best, you are my bestest friend!!", but I wonder how such a sweet girl can drive me so crazy! Cuz that phrase she told me turned into "You arnt my best friend anymore!" when I made her go to bed.. ahh 3 year olds are so fun

Rylee LOVES her dada!! He has left for the summer already, and I'm sure I hear at least 5 times a day how much she misses her dada and wants to go see him.. Then followed by, "But i'm not living in saskatoon, im staying here living at grandmas house"

Im pretty sure she gets this addiction from me! Is there honestly anything better than chocolate dipped strawberries?? Nope there isn't!

But what it all comes down to is that every day I realize how thankful I am to have been blessed with such an amazing little girl. She really is the reason for so many great things that have happened in my life, and I love her SO much more for that! Rylee truly has changed my life in so many ways and I know she will continue to do so. It's amazing what a 3 year old can teach you, and how a 3 year old can become one of your best friends!

All About my BABY!!

So this post is ALL about my Baby

Time sure is going by FAR to fast, and my little newborn is no longer my tiny baby. She still is tiny, but has so much personality and I just LOVE her to pieces! I swear during the day I just can not get enough of her. I could sit and watch the funny things she does all day long!!!

She is goofy, sweet, amazing and perfect in SO many ways

Hailyn is starting to talk more, she now says, mom, dad, hi, Rylee (eye-yeee), puppy, baby, bye, daisy, uhoh, her blanket is ba-ba, her bottle is a ba, and a bath is also a ba but she says the "ba's" different for each thing, and she says Hat and Hot

SO we are slowly getting better!! she understands everything you say to her, and she wants to do everything rylee does!

Her newest things she loves is to throw her diaper in the garbage after it's changed, she wants to draw, she loves books and sits thinking she is reading them. Shes obsessed with shoes and bows for her hair. She will only drink milk if it has chocolate syurp in it, and already goes crazy when she sees chocolate. She is a true girl in everyway and even more so she is absolutely perfect the way she is!

She is a tiny thing with a HUGE perfect personality and I will forever be greatful we were blessed to have her added to our family. She is the perfect addition and couldnt fit in any better than she does.

I LOVE Weddings!!!

On March 19, 2010 Jordans brother Adam married Sheryll an amazing girl!! I was honored they asked me to be their photographer, i've never took wedding pictures before so I was kind of nervous, but they were perfect models! I had SO much fun, and I realize how much I LOVE taking pictures!! Keep in mind this is my first attempt at shooting a wedding..

But im so happy for the new couple, they make such a perfect match!! I took over 300 pictures, so here are just a few..

Who Knew?!?

It is amazing to me how fast time goes by, and who knew that before I feel like I even blinked my baby turned 1!! It has been such an amazing and super fun last year, and Hailyn couldnt have been a more perfect fit for our little family of 4.

She is SO much fun, and easly the happiest baby ever, and as i type this I can hear her on the monitor laughing shaking her play pen back and forth... break time.. i better go get her

I have had it way to easy with her so far, by far the easiest labor ever, i dont think 2 hours even counts as true labor compared to other peoples experiences, and right after feeling amazing like i didnt even have a baby, (which apparently isnt even fair).

But she has been so easy, and i cant say it enough how incredibly happy and smiley she is. It is so weird to me how different my two girls can be. Rylee was just SO much "older" than Hailyn at this point, she was talking like crazy and walking and bigger.. Hailyn is just so tiny and says her few words, other than that she points at what she wants and makes her little noise to get it, she can walk but wont, shes a stinker but in a good way! I really just cant get enough of her, she is goofy and makes my day.

The other day in the tub Rylee was telling me a story and Hailyn wanted my attention on her so the whole time Rylee was talking she was going "mom, mom, mom, mom, mom..." and when Id have Rylee pause her story so i could stop and pay attention to Hailyn she would just smile and laugh and splash the water thinking she was so funny, and then as soon as Rylee started talking again Hailyn started in on the "mom, mom, mom, mom..." it was so funny. She already gets jealous and needs attention all on her.. I can already see the drama that will happen with my 2 girls, they love eachother and already fight over toys, and its just going to get worse. I do love watching them play, they play all day long and its so exciting to watch. "Mother Rylee" takes pretty good care of Hailyn for the most part!

Merry Christmas

I know I am the WORST blogger out there, so after over 3 months finally here is a new post. It seems like not much has changed yet so much has. Rylee is still as funny as can be, and WAY to smart! Im not just saying that because I am her mom, she really is one smart kid! and unfortunately she uses that to her advantage every chance she gets. We love her though. She is totally scared of Santa and when she sees him in the mall she runs the other direction.. She told me "one day when I am older I will sit on Santas lap, but not now". Im kinda thinking that 3 is old enough!
Hailyn is a super good baby and seriously always smiling. She follows Rylee around the house and wants to play with her. Its so fun watchng the two of them play, and she has also today decided that she can climb the stairs, little stinker! I thought id have a little while longer with those. Her new thing is to also say HI to everyone. There isnt anything better then waking up in the morning and having your baby look at you so excited and say "Hi". Our girls are so fun, we really are the luckiest ever to be blessed with the two of them.
